The setting
The Céivacances headquarters is based in southwest France, in the second sunniest department in France: the Charente-Maritime. Célivacances is between La Rochelle and Bordeaux, and just fifteen minutes from the beaches. Saint-André-de-Lidon, where Célivacances is situated, offers old world delights, away from the crowds, traffic and concrete jungle. It's for holidaymakers like you, in search of rest, where the calm, friendly and authentic feel will meet all your expectations. Note there are also many hiking trails nearby, a church with its upper chapel dating from the 12th century, and a Heritage House presents the history of the town from prehistoric times to now, along with all the usual shops and amneties.
The seaside resort of Royan opens up onto the ocean, miles of white sandy beaches, and enjoys a varied landscape. Your will benefit from its mid-atlantic micro-climate: it's mild all year round! You will also see some magical sights, such as beautiful views of the famous Fort Boyard (seen on TV!).
Stressed by your work? Need to unwind and meet new people in a unique setting? You have just found the perfect place: you will enjoy it here where time appears to stand still, having a rest on a sun lounger, house terrace, in the garden, in the park, or on the endless beaches where everyone can have find their own space in amongst the nature surrounding them.
You will fall in love with this pastoral and preserved area, far from the cities and their constant noise, and far from the daily grind. We are perfectly placed for swimming in the ocean or just taking it easy: here you can escape from it all!
However, you'll never be bored here. The activities are right here on tap, along with the shops and amneties close by, accessible on foot, by bike or car. You can also choose this are your starting point for beautiful walks, or perhaps you could discover the beautiful landscapes of the Roman Saintonge area by bike. You don't have to go to the other side of the world to see such gorgeous countryside.
You will not miss the city life: the nearest town is only 5km away, the nearest shops about 2km away, and for the shopaholics among you, within 20km you will be able to enjoy the beautiful roman streets of Saintes or Pons, or the seafront of Royan!
With its exceptionnal quality of life, and its personal touch, you can naturally and comfortably meet others during the activities and original soirees, for a simple day sunbathing, with much fun and relaxation
