The holiday cottages
Celivacances Charente Maritime is situated near the ocean and Royan, and is set in a very quiet location, in the heart of the Cognac vineyard region. All the amenities are close by (nightclubs, etc.), yet without any of the nuiscances (bad smells, noise, etc.).
Celivacances suggests you take your time to get to know one another by means of our communal holidays, without families and children, except for the during the single parent stays. Take it easy, feel at home, in an old wine producing farm, a different, authentic, spacious and comfortable place, renovated and furnished with only single people in mind.
Regardless of which Célivacances location you choose, you will find an intimate setting where no one is left out, or left in their bedroom worrying about joining in. As soon as you park your bags, you will get to meet your roommate, someone like you, whose daily life is similar to yours, and who has come in search of the same thing as you:
° Get to know others naturally, be yourself, because the locations have been set up with this in mind,
° Eat together with your new friends, and have fun in this relaxed atmosphere,
° Be surrounded by people like you, who prefer to spend their free time with others - let yourself go,
° Try some activities that are not available at home, that you won't find anywhere else, and laugh and relax.
In the Charente Maritime, each house is known as a holiday cottage, and each cottage is occupied by people of the same age-group to make getting along easier between you. These small groups allow you to not feel lost as you might in a large group (especially if it is your first singles holiday...). Friendships are formed more easily, and everyone gets to know each other better! For Celivacances Charente Maritime, it is possible to meet all the other single people, thanks to the joint activities and evenings spent in the common large garden area, or in one or other of the cottages. There is also the means to have time on your own, either on site or elsewhere
The cosy holiday cottages are a mix of old and new, with exposed stone walls, and modern furnishings. They are inviting, cool in the summer, and warm in the winter with a fireplace in the living room! This charming place will quickly make you feel at home! They all have modern equipment, are comfortable and tastefully-decorated.
Meals
With Celivacances, rather than having to cook your own meals during your holiday, come in to the smell of tasty meals being prepared for you. The meals are high quality and well-balanced, with seasonal ingredients sourced locally: all you've got to do is sit down and eat.
Our concept was thought up for you to quickly and easily start up conversations, and create an understanding that immediately puts everyone at ease: you won't be alone during your free time.

We don't advise you to take a single bedroom, even though they are available at a supplementary cost; if you live alone all year, wouldn't you rather spend your holiday with others, and not deprive yourself of the comical moments that happen when sharing a bedroom that might enhance your stay!
